What a one-of-a-kind safe. This Excelsior safe comes in its original lockable oak cabinet. The only one ive come across with an original cabinet in oak. The cabinet has been stripped and refinished in a matt lacquer. There are runners on the bottom of the cabinet to ease sliding safe in and out of the cabinet.
We gave this safe a more luxury design to compliment the beautiful brass plaque. The base colour is a dark red Ral 3005 with the pattern a subtle lighter red which enhances the luxury feel of this safe. When you open the safe we fitted a black suede interior and added latin text above the door "fortune favours the brave" . We used brass enamel for the pin-striping and lettering. The entire safe is finished in a gloss lacquer which makes the safe stand out. All the locks are fully working, cabinet, Door and drawer and a spare set is included. All brass is cleaned and polished to our usual high standards.
If you wish, we can add logos, or initials to the safe at additional cost.

Please note: Safes of this age, approximately 100years old will show signs of their age and build, even after our restoration. We believe each safe has its own character, and thats what makes them special. If you purchase one of our safes, its not a NEW safe, they were built without modern tools, you will see imperfections, ie. the hinges are metal on metal (no bearings) so they may squeak and some may scratch some paintwork at the bottom hinge.
