This is a special little safe. We don't come across this size safes very often, it being so small but heavy for its size. This is a solid steel safe, very well built, with a lovely feature frame on the door. There was no tell tail signs of which manufacturer built this, but its extremely well made. From our experience we think its early 1900's manufacture. We have tried to design this safe in a classic style to compliment the look and size. it has an unusual lock with a round key. We've kept to our vintage black exterior colour and used the interior perl copper for the panels and added a faint dark edging. A perl copper colour is used inside to give it a wow factor which slightly sparkles when LED light comes on. We also added a very intricate border around the interior door in gold enamel. All graphics are hand applied in gold sign writing enamel. The door lock is a high secure lock complete with a special key , however the inside lock is a dummy (no lock mechanism). All brass been cleaned and polished to our usual high standards.
Note: While a safe is advertised as in production, a buyer can purchase and amend the design to suit their own requirements, depending on how far in the production process the safe is.

Please note: Safes of this age, approximately 100years old will show signs of their age and build, even after our restoration. We believe each safe has its own character, and thats what makes them special. If you purchase one of our safes, its not a NEW safe, they were built without modern tools, you will see imperfections, ie. the hinges are metal on metal (no bearings) so they may squeak and some may scratch some paintwork at the bottom hinge.
