To cater to all tastes, we now design/build safes with no brand applied. Each safe will be finished as detailed below. Anybody can contact us to request their own brand be applied as example in the images. We provide a full design service to ensure you get the perfect branded safe, for example your favourite watch brand, your initials or even a company brand.
WOW... what a safe, its totally unique, and there will never be another like it again. Due to the size and weight, the logistics to get this completed has been a labour of love. Its taken me over 6 months to collect all the parts to enable this to be built to this standard.
The safe is larger than our usual sizes and its a lot heavier at 180kg. We've designed this double door safe around a traditional design. Built around early / mid 1900's we've kept all its original features. The exterior colours are vintage black with dark red panels and retaining all its original S.Withers brass door plaques, handles and escutcheons. Samuel Withers safes have wonderful brass fist door handles which look amazing. Inside we've created a luxury feel using a deep purple colour with suede fabric. We've added a 10mm hole in the bottom to enable a power cord to be fed to devices, ie. watch winders. All the pinstripes are painted in brass enamel. An LED motion sensor light is fitted which comes on as the door is opened. All locks (door and drawers) are fully working, all have a key and all have been serviced. Original Door key and new drawer key. All brass has been cleaned and polished to our usual high standards.
Size: (HxWxD) 660x660x480 (plus 60mm for handles)
Weight: 180kg
Design Theme: Traditional vintage
Please note: Safes of this age, approximately 100years old will show signs of their age and build, even after our restoration. We believe each safe has its own character, and thats what makes them special. If you purchase one of our safes, its not a NEW safe, they were built without modern tools, you will see imperfections, ie. the hinges are metal on metal (no bearings) so they may squeak and some may scratch some paintwork at the bottom hinge.
