Wow, what an opportunity to own a very rare one-of-a-kind safe. This is a 19th century Portuguese safe made Lopes & Araujo, the brass plaque on the top plinth reads "Lopes & Araujo Successor Francisco Carlos Lopes 71-rua da Assumpcao Lisboa"
The safe is bolted to the wooden base plinth and has a matching wooden plinth on top to give this safe its special appearance. What makes this safe stand outs is the lock mechanism, its has 3 brass dials which you must align to a specific combination before the key will turn in the lock. there is also a small lockable drawer in the bottom wooden base plinth.
