Jordan & Co Temple Bar London 122

£0.00 GBP

These are lovely boxes from late 1800 early 1900's. This could be stunning, restored to a personal design, we've put some visuals together. They are well made, solid and strong, as they have lasted over time.  Two locks have 2 original different keys to open each lock

We think this would look wonderful on any home or high end office desk.

We have added a couple of quick design to give you an idea of what this little gem could look like after a restoration, maybe add company logo of your initials to the top making it truly unique.

History: Jordan & Sons was a London-based lock, safe, or hardware firm with premises at Bell Yard, Temple Bar, and nearby Chancery Lane in the City of London. The “double lock cash box” would fit a business selling security goods, such as cash boxes, safes, or locks. Cash boxes and similar metal money chests were common merchant and office security items in the 19th and early 20th centuries, and firms in Temple Bar/Chancery Lane often traded in legal, clerical, and commercial hardware.
