This J.Cartwright safe is a solid steel safe and a nice size. The finish on this has been extensive to create the pattern effect in the background. I wont be in a hurry to replicate this design, it took way, way more time than i calculated. The leaf design is one continuous artwork so the design flows across all sides seamless. Its coloured in a very subtle grey leaf 'art deco' pattern over a vintage grey/black base colour which fades out towards the top leaving the top just black. All graphics are hand applied in gold sign writing enamel. The inside is painted in a beautiful perl red paint which looks magical when the light comes on. Our signature, high gloss lacquer exterior makes this design even more impressive. Both locks are fully working, both have a key and both have been serviced. All brass been cleaned and polished to our usual high standards.

We believe each safe has its own character, and thats what makes them special. If you purchase one of our safes, its not a NEW safe, they were built without modern tools, you will see imperfections, ie. the hinges are metal on metal (no bearings) so they may squeak and some may scratch some paintwork at the bottom hinge.
